Leader 360- EQi 2.0.Emotional Intelligence Assessment
EQ-i 2.0 Administration Overview
The EQ-i 2.0 is an online self-assessment designed to measure emotional intelligence across key areas such as self-perception, interpersonal skills, decision-making, and stress management.
1. Invitation and Access
Participants receive an email invitation with a secure link to the assessment platform (usually through Multi-Health Systems, or MHS Assessments). Each link is unique and confidential.
2. Completing the Assessment
-
The assessment is completed online and takes about 20–30 minutes.
-
It consists of 133 short statements, with participants indicating how often each statement applies to them using a 5-point scale (from “Never/Rarely” to “Always/Almost Always”).
-
There are no right or wrong answers — responses reflect typical behaviors and emotional tendencies.
3. Environment
-
Participants can complete the assessment at their own pace in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
-
It can be done on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
4. Scoring and Reporting
Once completed, results are automatically scored by MHS’s system.
Certified practitioners then interpret the results and generate a personalized report, which may include:-
An overall Emotional Intelligence (EI) score
-
Scores across five composite areas and 15 subscales
-
Developmental insights and strategies for improvement
5. Debriefing
A confidential feedback session is typically scheduled with a certified EQ-i 2.0 practitioner to review the results, discuss strengths and development areas, and create an action plan for applying EI insights in personal or professional contexts
