  • The Hogan Assessment is typically administered online and consists of a series of self-report questionnaires that measure personality traits, values, and potential career derailers.

    Here’s a brief overview of how it’s administered:

    • Invitation:
      Participants receive an email invitation with a secure link to the Hogan Assessment portal.

    • Assessment Completion:
      The participant completes one or more of the Hogan instruments (depending on purpose):

      • HPI (Hogan Personality Inventory): measures normal personality.

      • HDS (Hogan Development Survey): identifies potential derailers under stress.

      • MVPI (Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory): assesses core values and drivers.
        Each assessment takes about 15–20 minutes, and the full set usually takes 45–60 minutes total.

    • Conditions:

      • Done individually and unsupervised (online from any device).

      • No right or wrong answers — participants respond based on how they usually think, feel, and behave.

      • Results are kept confidential and shared only with authorized professionals or the participant, depending on the testing agreement.

    • Scoring and Reporting:
      Responses are scored automatically by Hogan’s system, and certified practitioners interpret the results. Reports can include summaries for selection, leadership development, or coaching purposes.
